Who are we?
Created in 1945 as the Centre international d’études pédagogiques, France Education International is an institution under the supervision of the Ministry of National Education and Youth.
Its missions, which are in line with the government’s priorities for international cooperation, are based on three main areas of activity :
cooperation in the areas of school education, technical and vocational training and higher education
support for the teaching of French around the world, through the training of trainers and educational managers and through language evaluation ;
- international mobility, through exchange programs for language assistants and teachers as well as the recognition of foreign qualifications.
France Education International is also a place space for information and reflection. It includes a Laboratory for Innovation and Resources in Education (LIRE) and publishes the Revue internationale d’éducation de Sèvres. In addition, it regularly hosts seminars and conferences.
To carry out its activities, France Education International relies on the know-how of a team of 250 people, as well as on a network of more than 1,000 experts and national and international partners. Based in Sèvres, it has a center in La Réunion.

We bring together, in the field of international cooperation, the actors and expertise of the French Ministry of National Education, Youth and Sports. We contribute to its international openness and promote dialogue and exchanges with the education systems of partner countries.
We collaborate with all public and private, national and international actors, specialists in contemporary education and training issues.
