- It involves a face-to-face interview with an examiner. This interview is recorded.
- This examination is taken individually with an examiner. The interview is recorded in digital format and is sent to the CIEP at the end of the session.
- A first evaluation is carried out on-site by the examiner, a second by a team of qualified teachers. This leads to a systematic double marking for each oral production.
- Duration of the examination: 12 minutes.

- Vous voulez faire une sortie culturelle. Vous me demandez des conseils.
- Je dirige une association qui aide les personnes en difficultés. Posez-moi des questions pour savoir comment fonctionne cette association.
- Vous partez en vacances, vous cherchez quelqu’un pour garder votre chat pendant votre absence. Je vous propose ma candidature. Posez-moi des questions pour décider si je serai capable de garder votre chat.
Task 3:
- Pour vous, qu’est-ce qu’un pays agréable à vivre ?
- Si vous aviez une activité humanitaire, laquelle vous plairait ? Expliquer pourquoi.
- A votre avis, peut-on vivre sans pétrole ?
Tips and tricks for taking this examination
- Before the interview begins, the examiner will explain the layout of the examination to you. Question him/her if you have not understood a particular point;
- at any time, you can ask for a word or question to be repeated or clarified if you need;
- to complete the tasks, recall your past experiences and personal history;
- if you can't recall a specific experience, you can make up the situations;
- the examiner will interrupt you if the time frame for the examination has elapsed. Please do not be offended if this happens.
