Welcome a French Teacher in your school and/or come visit a school in France.
The Teacher Professional Visits program, funded by the French Ministry of Education, was designed as a mobility tool to develop cooperation between European Schools. The program allows French teachers to visit schools in Europe for a two-week stay; European teachers can also visit a school in France for two to four weeks. Since 2009, hundreds of teachers have travelled from/to France.
Eight countries are currently involved: Austria, France, Germany, Italy, Ireland, Portugal, Spain, the United Kingdom.

Why participate in our programme?
- Strengthen your foreign language skills and those of your students;
- Discover a different educational system (observe different teaching practices, give joint lessons with your French counterpart…);
- Develop partnerships and student exchanges;
- Create your own programme with your host school (dates of stay, contents…).
Welcoming a French Teacher
Modern Language teachers working in secondary schools are priority candidates. The teachers receive a mobility grant amounting to 400 € to help them finance their stay.
