Using my CPF for certificates
In France, employees credit their personal training account (compte personnel de formation, CPF) with time or euros depending on their part-time or full-time jobs. The CPF makes it possible to fund a training course or a certification. This lets those who want to develop their skills in French and get them recognised by an official certificate use their CPF for financing. The France Éducation international certificates are recognised and eligible for CPF.
Process
- Log into https://www.moncompteformation.gouv.fr/ (formerly moncompteactivite.fr).
- Find a training course
- In the tab “Je trouve une formation et je m’inscris” (“I’m looking for a training course and I want to register”), find information about the following keywords in the search box: TCF or DELF or DALF or DILF. You can also enter the code directly (see below).
- Choose “in a training centre” or “remote learning”.
- Provide a postcode to find a training course near you. Click on the arrow: the available courses will be displayed on the screen.

Training body
Training bodies that want to list a training course that includes a France Éducation international certification on the EDOF platform need to obtain our authorisation. A partnership agreement between the training body and our institute must be signed.
ATTENTION: This referencing will only be possible for our network of approved exam centres. This is because France Compétences requires certifying bodies to take measures to control its partners. These measures can only be applied to our network of centres, which are already subject to quality controls on our part for managing and administering examinations.
